WASHINGTON (Stocksak), Tuesday, the White House welcomed Saudi Arabia’s efforts to assist Ukraine in its war against Russia. President Joe Biden contemplates how difficult it would be to oppose Saudi Arabia for joining an oil production cut.
Karine Jean-Pierre, spokesperson for the White House, told reporters that Biden would take his time in assessing the consequences Saudi Arabia will face if it decides to reduce oil production under the Saudi-led OPEC+.
She said that she had taken note of the fact that Saudi Arabia voted against Russia in the United Nations’ election and that $4 million was pledged to support Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts and humanitarian needs.
