Stocksak: Mental health startup Cerebral to reduce about 20% of its workforce

(Stocksak). Telehealth startup Cerebral Inc has announced a 20% reduction in its workforce, a spokesperson for Cerebral Inc said Monday.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the company, which offers mental health services via its telehealth platform to patients, was planning to reduce its workforce in order to meet lower patient demand and achieve its growth goals.

According to the report, restructuring would be carried out across all divisions, including clinical-care teams as well as support staff.

The spokesperson for the company that is not listed did not give any details on the company’s staff strength or the employees that it planned to lay off.
