GM posts higher profit, reaffirms outlook. But margin slips By Stocksak

DETROIT (Stocksak), General Motors Co reported Tuesday a higher quarterly profit and reaffirmed its full year outlook.

The automaker reported a net income of $3.3billion, up from $2.4billion a year ago. Revenue rose to $41.9 billion from $26.8 million a year prior.

GM’s net margin fell to 7.9% from 9.0% a previous year.
