Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The Frankfurt close saw the index rise 1.58% to a new 1-month peak. The index also increased 1.41% and 1.30% respectively.

RWE AG ST O.N. were the top performers of the session. (ETR:) rose 4.01% or 1.48 point to trade at 38.38 at close. E.ON SE (ETR 🙂 gained 3.26% or 0.26 to trade at 8.17 Siemens Late trade saw AG Class N (ETR 🙂 rise 2.81% to 109.84

The MDAX’s top performers were Wacker Chemie O.N. O.N. LEG Immobilien AG (ETR) was up 3.26% to settle in 62.64, and Carl Zeiss Meditec AG(ETR) was up 2.98% to close in 117.50.
