© Stocksak. France stocks lower at close to trade; CAC 40 down 0.51 – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index fell 0.44% at the Paris closing.

TotalEnergies SE, which rose 2.95% (or 1.56 points) to trade at 54.48 at close, were the best performers of the session. Meanwhile, Carrefour SA (EPA) gained 2.89%, or 0.44 points, to finish at 15.84 and Compagnie Generale des Etablissements Michelin SCA (EPA 🙂 was up 2.43% (0.61 points) to 25.68 in late trading.

STMicroelectronics NV – (EPA:), which lost 6.97% or 2.43 point to trade at 32.51 by the close, were the worst performers of the session. Schneider Electric SE (EPA) fell 3.41% or 4.52 point to end at 128.04 while Dassault Systemes SE was down 3.04%, or 1.09 points, to 34.58.

The top performers of the SBF 120 were Casino Guichard Perrachon SA [EPA:] which rose 15.72% à 10.05 Mercialys SA (EPA) was up 3.97% to settle in at 8.90 Faurecia (EPA:), which gained 3.86% to close on 14.79

The worst performers were Orpea SA (EPA,) was down 15.33% – 8.32 in latetrade. STMicroelectronics NV EPA (EPA:), which lost 6.97%, settled at 32.51 Mcphy Energy (EPA:), which fell 5.18% to 12.07 at close.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw falling stocks outnumber advancing stocks by 279 to 244, and 97 ended unchanged.

Orpea SA (EPA) shares fell to 5-year lows. They lost 15.33% or 1.51 and 8.32.

The implied volatility of CAC40 options was unchanged at 0.00% to 18.96, a new 52 week high.

The December delivery of gold futures fell 0.41% or 6.85 percent to $1,662.35 an troy ounce. In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery rose 1.59% or 1.40, to $89.31 per barrel, while the January Brent crude oil contract rose 1.29%, or 1.21, to trade at $95.00 per barrel.

EUR/USD was at 1.00 and EUR/GBP at 0.86.

The US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.65% at 110.26
