BERLIN (Stocksak), Daimler (OTC): Truck slightly raised its full year earnings forecast on Wednesday after reporting better than expected results in the 3rd quarter. This was thanks to a jump of unit sales, higher pricing, and strong aftersales.

Daimler Truck now anticipates full-year group revenue of 50 billion to 52 billion euros ($50.40billion – $52.42billion), up from 48 billion to 50billion.

The company, which will present its 3rd quarter report on Nov. 11, stated that adjusted earnings (before interest and taxes) rose 159% to 1.27 Billion Euros in the third Quarter, surpassing analysts’ forecast of 1.08 Billion euros.
