The best performers at the session on the were Costa Group Holdings Ltd (ASX:), which gained 10.76%, or 0.24 points, to trade at 2.47 at close. Meanwhile, Westgold Resources Ltd (ASX.:) climbed 8.00%, or 0.06 points, to 0.81. Kogan.com Ltd. was up 6.38% (or 0.21 points) to 3.50 in the late trade.
The session’s worst performers were Codan Ltd (ASX) fell 20.70%, or 1.01 points, to trade at 3.87 at close. Medibank Private Ltd (ASX.:) declined 18.12%, or 0.63 points, to end at 2.87. Whitehaven Coal Ltd. was down 8.11%, or 0.84 points, to 9.52.
The Sydney Stock Exchange saw rising stocks outnumber declining ones by 684 to 583, and 361 ended unchanged.

The AUD/USD rose 1.17% to 0.65 while the AUD/JPY rose 0.65% and 95.19.
The US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.64% at 110.12.
